Today, Tuesday, August 18, 2025, I participated in a peaceful demonstration in the city of Manchester to express our rejection of the seizure of public lands by party officials, government authorities, and prominent tribal figures in the Kurdistan Region, as well as the misuse of public resources through party-affiliated companies.**

During the protest, a strong presence of activists, freedom advocates, journalists, political and social observers, and members of the Kurdish diaspora in Britain was evident. We raised our voices against widespread corruption and condemned the confiscation of public property for partisan and personal interests by those in power—particularly the Barzani and Talabani families. This demonstration is part of the ongoing campaigns by *Rêgay Azadî* (Path to Freedom) to expose corruption and advocate for the rights of the Kurdish people through peaceful and democratic means.

Following the protest, *Rêgay Azadî* sent memorandums and petitions signed by participants to the Iraqi Consulate, which will later be forwarded to the European Union and international human rights organizations. We call on international institutions to take action against the violations committed by the Kurdistan Regional Government officials, party authorities, influential tribal figures, and partisan companies.

Through expressions of dissent, gatherings, writings, and petitions, *Rêgay Azadî* continues its civil struggle using every peaceful tool available. We will persist until the true face of the brutality and corruption of the ruling parties (PUK and KDP) and their officials is exposed to the world.
